Cindy Schutt brings 35+ years of public relations experience to her clients, with special expertise in media relations.  Her relationships with clients are long term, typically lasting for years, due to outstanding results-oriented client service.

Over the course of her career, Schutt has worked with the press to generate hundreds of news stories in print and broadcast media outlets, has assisted clients in becoming information resources to the media resulting in long-lasting client/media relationships, and has managed reporter-initiated news stories to the maximum benefit of clients. She has developed, managed and implemented countless publicity campaigns.

In addition to media relations, Schutt provides public relations planning, professional writing and content development, collateral design and production, community relations programming and special event development and implementation for businesses and nonprofit organizations.

She launched her public relations practice, Cindy Schutt PR, in March of 2004. Previously, she served in leadership positions in two other PR firms, where she worked side by side with company principals to plan, manage and implement a variety of communications activities for all types of organizations.

Schutt is an avid Gator fan having earned a degree in Journalism with a Public Relations major from the College of Journalism and Communications at the University of Florida. She also is accredited in public relations (APR) by the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), the world’s largest and most prestigious organization for public relations professionals.
